Debate: Take Care or Cole World?

Before I open up the floor here I’d like to weigh in on this debate. I’m anticipating both obviously, but this is one of those “put a gun to your head and choose one” type debates. Everyone’s favorite. Ignore the fact that Cole’s project drops a month before Drake’s so you’ll be anticipating it longer anyway. Lets break this down real quick….

Cole World, No Blanket. That is what J. Cole gave to Toronto as the ‘Cole World: World Tour‘ made its stop. T.O. fans showed J. Cole so much love that he decided to treat them with an exclusive performance of the song “God’s Gift” which is off of the highly-anticipated freshman album, ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story‘. Check out the video above.

J. Cole Speaks On His Previous Rap Name, “Therapist”

I won’t change my name again, because now it’s right. It’s perfect, it feels good,” he said. “The reason why I changed it was because the other name, Therapist, was when I was younger. First of all, it was given to me by my mentor. I was really just a kid. They gave me a name and I was like, ‘Aight, y’all like it? I like it.’ I came to love it, I learned to love it, because it really became my style and who I was. At the end of the day, it always felt like a wrestler name. [...] I had to do something more like my name. Jermaine Cole, J. Cole.

J. Cole, the name we came to love and admire, talks to Trace Urban about how he went from being called, “Therapist” as a young rapper, where he got that name, and why he dropped it. Check out the video after the jump to see J. Cole talk about being “Therapist”.

J. Cole Releases 2nd Single, “Can’t Get Enough” ft. Trey Songz

J. Cole turned to his twitter to announce that his 2nd single off of Cole World: The Sideline Story is finally released. The song is “Can’t Get Enough” ft. Trey Songz. The song was leaked in late July, but if you are a true music supporter, the song is now available to download via iTunes.

September 27th, 2011 is the date to remember.

J. Cole’s VIBE Magazine Takeover

After getting his phone taken away last night and getting it back, J. Cole seems to be in a great mood as he takes over VIBE.com as the Guest Editor for the day. J. Cole will be taking over and writing whatever he feels like on the website today. We might learn a thing or two from Cole. He will also post experiences of meeting other celebrities like Will & Jada, Eminem, Beyonce, Nas and much more. Mr. Jermaine also talks to the ladies on how to carry themselves as a woman. Musicians love their fans with all that their heart can desire, but seems like for one J. Cole fan, she wanted him so bad she stole his phone during the performance in Vancouver, Canada tonight. Luckily, the camera crew for J. Cole was able to capture footage of who stole the phone. J. Cole turned to twitter humorously & shout out the female who he caught stealing his phone, via footage.

So if you lucky female happens to see this blog, you should maybe return the phone before you get in deep tourble. (haha).
